Prophetess
If you want to giggle and laugh all the weekend, Niyi Akinmolayan’s feature film, Prophetess, will serve that purpose.
The movie, which was shot in Ibadan, features Nollywood stars like Toyin Abraham, Kunle Remi, Kehinde Bankole, Tina Mba, Deyemi Okanlawon, among others.
The movie tells the tale of Ajoke, a local prophetess whose bogus prediction about a football match sets off a series of events that spiral beyond her control. This led to endangering her life, her sister’s life and that of her sick mother.
