Nissan s Z chassis has a long and heralded history globally, ever since it was introduced in 1969.
The Z Proto is the brand s latest Z offering and will feature a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine expected to make 294kW, sending power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
Shinichiro Irie is the Program Design Director of the Z Proto model, tasked with creating a brand-new version of the performance coupe now known as the 400Z.
