The problem with a lie as big as this one is that it never knows when it has had enough to eat, and it always needs more food.
It s a simple lie, really. And, it s being told with more and more frequency lately, which is really no surprise. Lies like this tend to get fatter and fatter and hungrier and hungrier before they explode, and many, many people need this lie to be true. ....
ROCK HALL â Santa made some early deliveries throughout Kent County this month in advance of the Special Education Citizensâ Advisory Committeeâs annual Sensory Holiday Party. The party, supported by Kent County Public Schools Family Support Resource Center and Infants and Toddlers Programwent virtual this year due to the pandemic. âSince we are unable to host an event in person, we decided to make up activity bags for those who register. This was dedicated to children in infants and toddlers and special education in KCPS,â said Parent Coordinator Elizabeth Proffitt in an email. In preparation for the virtual party, Santa delivered bags with all the essentials for a festive party to those who registered Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 12 and 13. The virtual party itself was held Wednesday evening, Dec. 16, with 68 children who receive special education services, along with their siblings, signed up. ....
