Billy B. Hinson of Mt. Pleasant passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 88. He was born April 1, 1932, to Bascom and Thelma (Edwards) Hinson in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Billy grew up in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. He served two years in the Army in Korea. He attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a BS in petroleum engineering. He worked for Lone Star Steel for many years and retired from there. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his first wife Carolyn Hinson, youngest son Todd Hinson, and second wife Judy Hinson. ....
