Fortunately things are under better control now than when we first arrived and at 6 30 this morning it was three story garden style Apartment Building with heavy fire showing from ground level apartment that fire was extending to the upper floors and people were just waking up and going out to the hallway were driven back into apartment from inteps heat. They used ground laders to rescue them from balconies and theyre currently being evaluated by paramedics at this time. It doesnt appear anybody suggestion stained serious injuries. Firefighters have put a good knock on the fire. All visible fire from outside the building was extinguished and however at this time we still continue to conduct searches and knock out any extension that may be in the building. All right and damage to the building is pretty substantial, on terrace level and nowhere for the fire to go but upwards it danaged apartment above as well. All three to four floors
The Broward County Sheriffs Office received at least 23 calls related to nikolas cruz and his family. In 2016 a deputy was told that cruz was threatening to shoot up his school and taken photographs of himself with firearms. That information was forwarded to deputy Scot Peterson.
