Police were asking for a warrant to charge wanatee with 2nd degree murder. The victim was taken to Mercy Medical center by a private party before officers arrived. He was treated for several stab wounds but died due to his injuries. Authorities say they believe that wantatee knew the victim and that this was not a random crime.
