the shot? as i said, it was dark. but after the shot, obviously someone the man got up, and it was kind of like that period of him i can t say i actually watched him get up, but maybe only within a couple seconds or so, then he was walking towards where i was watching, and i could see him a little bit clearer and see it was a hispanic man, and he was he didn t appear hurt or anything else. he just kind of seemed very i guess the term very worried or whatever, walked on the sidewalk at that point, his hand up to his forehead. and then another man came out with a flashlight. senior legal analyst jeffrey toobin joins us. you went to visit with the anderson cooper staff and heard more about the interview. he said it was a hispanic man. that would match the description of george zimmerman. he didn t seem hurt. he does say later he had his hand at his forehand. what do we make of the part we just heard? well, the big issue that remains at the heart of this cas ....

he s stepped aside temporarily yesterday. today, the man who could fire him but hasn t, city manager norman bonaparte, spoke about the force that chief lee runs. he said any trust in the police department is gone and this for african-americans in sanford, florida, it was shaky to begin with. let s be very clear. chief lee has been the chief of the sanford police department for ten months. the issues that have been brought to my attention regarding the black community and the sanford community go back many years. we have been looking into that, including the brutal beating of a homeless man, in which they let the son of a sanford police lieutenant go free. that led to the early departure of the police chief. we re going to detail that incident and others shortly. and you re going to hear from sanford s mayor, jeff triplett. and meantime, president obama who hasn t spoken publicly about the martin case until today speaks now. but my main message is to the parents of ....

paul callen is with me right here on set. paul, let s talk about this first. my question is 17 counts of murder. reports are he had killed 16 afghan civilians. can you help us make sense of that? this is very strange. it sounds like there may be another victim. the original reports were 9 children, 3 women and 4 men were killed in this rampage and now we seem to have another victim, so 17 counts would look like another victim. i suppose they could have indicted him on two theories relating to one count of murder, that s a possibility as well, but we ll have to wait to see the details. would it be if perhaps one of the victims, one of the women were pregnant? would that be another possibility? it s unlikely that that would be the case. you would really you d have to have a fetus that was ready to be born. you know, one of the major problems in this case, and this has been said by the defense attorney, how do we know how these individuals were killed, because this ....
