The event begins Friday morning with community-wide garage sales and continues through the weekend with a parade, fish fry, walleye fishing tournament, car show, disc golf tournament, carnival rides and fireworks. “The Walleye Festival is BACK!! We’ll be following all the State Guidelines for our Festival, and keeping everyone safe will be our top priority. About every 15 minutes the series of songs or show will restart. Each show lasts about12 minutes, with a three-minute break between shows. Monday, Dec. 28 God s Helping Hands of Hemlock and Merrill, an outreach of Zion Lutheran Church of Hemlock, has scheduled a food distribution.
