BELPRE – Forty new, colorful and artistic banners are lining major streets in Belpre through a project from Beautify Belpre, a volunteer beautification committee in the city. Banners were designed to spotlight the gazebo, the traditional symbol of the community located in Civitan Park, the area’s gathering and recreational center, committee President Jon Neff said. The vibrant orange welcome banners also depict the community’s ties to the Ohio River that borders the city. ....
