BAXTER Those who drive, walk, ride, visit or do business on Highway 210 in the city of Baxter are invited to take a Minnesota Department of Transportation survey for a transportation study in this area.
The survey will be open online May 6 through June 2 and can be taken at
Last year, MnDOT launched the study to look at existing and future needs along the Highway 210 corridor in Baxter. A survey was also conducted last fall to get initial feedback from the community on needs for the corridor where MnDOT received insight from a user’s perspective.
Closure planned for southbound Timberline Road due to gas line work
Expect intermittent closures of southbound Timberline Road for the next week due to work on a gas line in the area.
The work is set to begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday. From 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., southbound Timberline will be completely closed between Harmony Road and Timberwood Drive, the entrance to the shopping center containing the Cinemark Theater. There will be signed detour routes on eastbound and westbound Harmony to Lemay Avenue or Ziegler Road.
Work will continue Sunday, March 7, through Thursday, March 11, with intermittent closures between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
