It was big green arc light in the back it was amazing. It was kind of cool. And then the power went out. And then it came back on. And then it went out again, so i think weve been without power since 6 45 this morning. When the electricity went out, so did aleta delaplanes heat. But she and a neighbor were making the best of their day without power, sitting by the gas fireplace. Jean, School Leaders have been talking about this project for a long time and tonight theyre hoping they need to move forward. Supervisors will consider a resolution on construction of a school and a competition gym for 40million of that amount would be borrowed. The board cast a similar vote last june, limiting the project to 38million. Since then three new members have been elected. Some members of the school board have said the project cant be done for 38million and tonight theyll get support from parents like john messier, who plans to speak at the meeting in favor of the larger amount. Residents who showed up this morning to collect his belongings and salvage what was left of his house. Some of the rescue squad workers had children at child care. It looked kind of bad. Finally they told us our house wasnt here anymore. We came and here it is here. A county spokesperson says damage assessments are still under way and she couldnt provide a dollar amount for what was destroyed. County Officials Say that this area is still very dangerous with a lot of downed power lines and loose debris.
