Filmmaker Tim McKort will be holding a meet and greet in late October to meet with residents to discuss his plans for the film, locations he’s looking for and opportunities for locals to get involved. “We’re looking for a facility outside and looking for some other locations. Mayerthorpe is close and it’s a tight-knit community. It’s in that green space we want to explore. I think the economic impact from what we’re doing will be good for everybody. It’s also an opportunity for businesses to market and brand,” said McKort. ....
