Well-regarded dealmaker Dragi Ristevski has been appointed Credit Suisseâs new co-head of investment banking. Street Talk understands the Swiss bank has named Dragi Ristevski as its new co-head of investment banking and capital markets, replacing James Disney. The announcement was made internally on Wednesday, and comes only four months after private equity and industrials dealmaking specialist Ristevski joined the bank from Citi earlier this year. Ristevski is one of the busiest dealmakers in the country, and Wednesdayâs announcement said he would continue to oversee financial sponsors coverage for the bank in addition to his new co-head duties. ....
UBS lures TMET banker Tim McKessar Share UBS has poached Credit Suisse managing director Tim McKessar to lead its TMET investment banking coverage in Australia alongside co-head Brendan Mulheron. It is understood McKessar resigned from Credit Suisse on Friday after 13 years with the Swiss bank. UBS has recruited well known TMED banker Tim McKessar. AFR “Tim has considerable experience across telecommunications, media and technology with recent experience including acting for Vocus on its acquisition by MIRA and Aware Super,” UBS said in a staff memo. “With Tim commencing we are reforming the dedicated TMT team, which will continue to work closely with other sectors including Power Utilities & Infrastructure and the Financial Institutions Group given the continued convergence of these sectors.” ....
