Robert Anthony ‘Robbie’ Rivenbark Jr. WILMINGTON Robert Anthony “Robbie” Rivenbark Jr., 44, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. Robbie was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and mentor to many lonely kids. Born in Wilmington, he spent most of his life growing up and living in the Silver Lake area of south Wilmington. Robbie was a 1994 graduate on New Hanover High School, where he made many friends. After high school, Robbie attended Cape Fear Tech for the trade of machinist, but it was shortly after that in 1995, when he found his career in the outdoors world as a land surveyor learning his trade and developing his skills under the tutelage of another surveyor, John Benson. Robbie would go on to put his skills to work for other companies in the Wilmington over the years and train others about this trade. ....
