Lancaster Police Department welcomes new officer
April 28, 2021LANCASTER The Lancaster Police Department is pleased to announce the hiring of its newest Officer, Kyler Kension. The 2016 White Mountains Regional High School graduate has been on patrol in uniform for the past month, but began working with the Police Department two months ago.
After graduation, Kenison spent three years serving in the Marine Corps, and is now in the reserves. His time in the military and his ability to relate to all individuals in a professional manner will take him far.
Kenison decided two years ago that he wanted to become an officer. ....

PAL Program returns to Lancaster
February 17, 2021LANCASTER After being in discussions for quite some time, the PAL Program (Police Athletic League) is back in town and better than ever. Teaming up to bring this important non-profit program back to the North Country youth, is the Lancaster Police Department, headed of course by Chief Tim Charbonneau and Kaze Dojo s Greg Williams.
Youth, ages six to 18 from any North Country town will be eligible to participate at no cost. Making the program possible was a $10,000 grant from GOFER (Governor s Office For Emergency Relief) in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club and the Governor s Youth Advisory Council. To keep the program up and running however, more funding will be needed. Those funds can come in the form of sponsorships for a student or donations. More information on how to do this will be forthcoming, as details are ironed out. ....
