The 25th-ranked Kansas Jayhawks have been selected to the 2022 NCAA Tournament, it was announced Monday evening. The Jayhawks will travel to Stanford, California to take on UC-Santa Barbara in the opening round.
Following Kansas Tennis’ 4-0 win over No. 53 Kansas State to close out the regular season, the Jayhawks will travel south to Fort Worth, Texas to participate in the Big 12 tournament on Friday April 22nd at 9 a.m.
This weekend, Kansas Tennis’ seniors were a major role in closing out the season against No. 53 Kansas State. All seniors won their singles matches and Ngounoue / Deming cliched the doubles point for Kansas, leading to a dominate 4-0 victory.
Kansas Tennis has two individuals moving on to the semifinals at the ITA Central Regional Championship after senior Malkia Ngounoue and redshirt-freshman Maria Titova won their quarterfinal matchups on Sunday morning.
