GOVERNOR Ralph DLG Torres appointed former Board of Education Chairwoman Janice A. Tenorio to the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. board of directors and former Department of Community and Cultural Affairs Secretary Melvin Faisao to the Northern Marianas Housing Corp. board of directors.

The governor also renominated Tiana Hofschneider to the CNMI Scholarship Board of Directors to represent Tinian, saying he and Lt. Gov. Arnold Palacios “look forward to the Senate’s favorable action on Ms. Hofschneider’s nomination.”
In his letter to Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider, the governor said he and the lt. governor are confident that Tenorio’s membership on an important board is critical to ensure consistency and continuity in fulfilling the goals and objectives of CUC. ....
