The kelloggs plant. One of the officers was getting back into his squad car which was parked right here when a man in an suv started to ram his vehicle. You started hearing yelling. I knew something was going on. I went to my window. You could hear a streaking, the car streaking in the street. You heard one shot. And then five more shots. Pop, pop, pop. Reporter thats what the man who lives nearby heard as officers opened fire to protect their colleague. Police tell us this happened around midnight last night. One officer was entering his car when the suspect in a silver isuzue suv came around the corner and collided with the officers vehicle, backed up and rammed the car again. The two other officers opened fire. You may be able to see where one of the shots pierced the windshield. The officer, remarkably, was not hurt seriouslseriously.
