Those are those ice-like crystals. if you can remember way back to the beginning of this. remember that big, giant, containment dome. somebody described it as a four-story outhouse that went down to the bottom of the sea over the gushing well. those hydrates got inside and clogged the top and made that containment dome buoyant. they could also muck up this process again. but things so far look good. and then later today, what they re going to do is they re going to shut down two containment processes that have been going on. the q-4000 which has been taking oil out of one of the lines out of the side of the blowout preventer, and it has been burning off the oil at the surface. that is going to be shut down. they hooked up something called the helix producer, which has been taking oil up to the surface as of last evening. that will be shut down, and then they will slowly start to shut down the valves on on this new sealing cap. what they re looking for here is pressure. and the pressure ....
