The U.S. attorney’s office for the District of Connecticut said 32-year-old Norwich resident Daniel Scott faces up to five years in prison if it is determined during sentencing that he violated the terms of his supervised release. Scott had previously been convicted twice on federal narcotics distribution charges, and was “on federal supervised release when he threatened the victim,” a news release said.

In a Wednesday ruling, U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas O. Farrish said Huseby must release documents relating to the worker s employment agreement and some of the claims in the company s lawsuit, saying concerns about trade secrets and confidential information did not justify stalling on Brandon Legal Tech s discovery request.

West Hartford Resident Indicted In Fentanyl Distribution Case

31-year-old Curon Johnson, also known as Buck, of East Hartford Jabari Walcott, 22, of Hartford, also known as Jabari Walcott-Greene Durham said Pitts and Walcott appeared in court Monday via videoconference before U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas O. Farrish in Hartford and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Johnson s arraignment has not been scheduled, he said. Subscribe According to court documents, in the summer of 2020, Hartford Police learned that Pitts and others were selling fentanyl, and that Pitts was using his West Hartford apartment to store fentanyl. Between August and October 2020, Hartford Police and the FBI s Northern Connecticut Gang Task Force made multiple controlled purchases of fentanyl from Pitts, Johnson and Walcott.Durham said.
