A Connecticut man federal authorities accused of threatening to kill a woman who rejected a relationship with him pleaded guilty to a charge of making interstate threats Tuesday.
The U.S. attorney’s office for the District of Connecticut said 32-year-old Norwich resident Daniel Scott faces up to five years in prison if it is determined during sentencing that he violated the terms of his supervised release.
Scott had previously been convicted twice on federal narcotics distribution charges, and was “on federal supervised release when he threatened the victim,” a news release said.
