Brother Didacus R. Wilson, T.O.R., of the Third Order Regular Franciscans of the Province of the Immaculate Conception, U.S.A., died on Wednesday in northern Virginia.
He was born in Verdun, France, to Deanel Wilson and Irene Stepniak Wilson and was given the name Richard at baptism.
Surviving are his brothers: Robert, Dennis, Patrick and Timothy; their families; and many co-workers, former students and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Brother Didacus entered the Franciscan Community in September 1980, and professed Solemn Vows in September 1986, at St. Thomas More House of Studies in Washington, D.C., For most of his religious life, Brother Didacus served the Church and the Franciscan community as an instructor in English and American Literature at Bishop Ireton High School, Alexandria, Va.
