Let me first remind everyone that pursuant to the latest guidance from the attending physician, all individuals attending the hearing in person must wear a face mask unless you are speaking. You will only see members and witnesses appearing remotely on the monitor in front of you when they are speaking in what is known as webx as active speaker view. The timer is visible in the room directly in front of you. For members appearing remotely, i know you are all familiar with webx by now, but let me remind you of a few points. Novartis Chief Legal Officer Shannon Klinger To Step Down, Names Thomas Kendris CLO Ad Interim BASEL (dpa-AFX) - Novartis AG (NVS) announced Friday that Shannon Thyme Klinger, Chief Legal Officer, has decided to resign from the role and return to the US to take an executive role at a biotechnology company. Klinger will step down from the Executive Committee of Novartis or ECN, effective March 15. The company appointed Thomas Kendris, currently Global Head Litigation and US Country President, as Chief Legal Officer ad interim and attendee to the ECN in this capacity. Kendris holds 25 years of experience across Novartis businesses.
