You gotta feel for Neptune Theatre. Days after it announced its tepid return to live shows, the government called for another lockdown (making those shows cancelled, of course). The new premier pretty quickly called JK on the whole thing–pulling the plug on a proposed monthlong shutdown one week in–but that doesn’t give the average live venue enough time to remount a cancelled show (or even recover from the whiplash, really).

WAUWATOSA, WI The Wauwatosa Plan Commission will discuss a proposal for a Mexican Restaurant during the March 8 meeting.
Gabbi and Betsi Zierath, the sisters behind Elm Grove s popular restaurant Zisters, are proposing a modern and trendy Mexican restaurant called Hermanas to replace Thirsty Duck, 11320 W. Bluemound Rd.
The restaurant will offer gourmet food and drinks.

According to city documents, they plan to have live music on the patio and occasionally inside.
Hermanas is inspired by Tulum, Mexico. A lazy modern beach town with a clean blank interior with random pops of color. Clean wood floors, light nude walls, black accent concrete countertops will contrast the two neon signs that say, blame it on the Tequila and Taco bout a good time, the documents said. ....
