The popular Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory s lecture series for middle and high school students, Science on Saturday, is going virtual this year with the theme âCombating COVID-19.â The free, online lectures, featuring leading LLNL researchers joined by Bay Area science teachers, are scheduled for 10 a.m., on four consecutive Saturdays, beginning Feb. 6. Each of the lectures will address a difference aspect of the scientific effort to combat the coronavirus.
