Continuity of leadership. bret: marie, there are a lot of republicans scratching their heads. they look at this latest a.p. poll just out about right track-wrong track, direction of the country, right direction, 28%. wrong direction 71%. and, yet, the senate is plus-1 for democrats and the house is a very slim majority where kevin mccarthy is trying to get to be speaker. that s right. and democrats want governorsships, they snrind state legislatures, this is not just about bad senate candidates on the republican side. ronna mcdaniel is right. part of it is early voting and republicans not embracing it like they should. a lot of it is message though. i agree apply friend marc on this if you perform this poorly in three consecutive elections you probably need new leadership at the top. you need better candidates. you need a better message. also, we are not sure how good polling is anymore. we all went into these midterm elections with a lot of assumptions about the political environm ....
