Innovative Canadian solutions to support sustainable agricultural practices February 19, 2021 February 19, 2021 By Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada The federal government announced more than $55 million to support R&D for clean solutions in the energy, agricultural and resources sectors this month. Announced Feb. 11 by François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, 20 clean technology companies across Canada will receive funding through Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), an independent federal foundation. This funding will support small and medium-sized companies that are developing innovative solutions to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lessen the environmental impacts of conventional mining methods and support more sustainable agricultural practices. ....
