SASKATOON While the pandemic has forced a global-trotting, award-winning husband and wife snow-sculpting team to stick close to home this winter it has also given the pair a chance to send a personal, heartwarming message from own their front lawn. This sculpture is called hug and it really sort of related to everybody being socially distant and holiday time and no one really getting that human contact with family and friends. Everybody would just kind of like to have a hug and get together. Theresa Wright said in an interview with CTV News. The large, detailed sculpture depicting a young girl cuddling an oversized teddy bear was inspired by Wright s nieces. ....

Akira Flowers was reportedly taken by her aunt Theresa Wright, without her mother’s permission, according to an alert from Chicago police. Wright refused to give Flowers back to her mother, police said. The incident remains under investigation by the Area Three Detective Division. ....
Flowers lives in the 2700 block of South Dearborn Street, police said. Prior to finding her Saturday, she was last seen Friday wearing blue jeans, white gym shoes, and a black puffy coat, according to police. Flowers is 4 feet tall and 95 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Wright, 43, is 5-foot-1 and 200 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. It is unknown what she is wearing.
