The media personality and attorney, who was the first Black Bachelorette, deactivated her account last month following an onslaught of harassment and hate by Bachelor Nation.

Her returning post features a bouquet of sunflowers. The caption reads, “I want to be like a sunflower so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight.”
Lindsay’s post has been met by an outpouring of support from her fellow “Bachelor” alums and other social media users.
“All the love coming your way,” wrote Katie Thurston, who was a contestant on Matt James’ season, while Chelsea Vaughn, also from James’ season, commented: “So happy to have you back, hoping you are feeling refreshed and loved.” ....

The return of Season 20 of NBC’s hit singing competition “The Voice,” featuring celebrity coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton, knocked the Monday primetime crown off of “The Bachelor’s” head, dropping the long-running ABC show in ranks after several weeks of being at the top.
“The Voice” drew a 1.1 in the Nielsen Live+Same Day adults 18-49 key demographic rankings and 7.74 million viewers. NBC also premiered the sci-fi drama series “Debris” at 10 p.m. The show, starring Jonathan Tucker, Riann Steele, Norbert Leo Butz and Scroobius Pip, garnered a 0.6 in the key demo and 4.36 million viewers. ....

Rachel Lindsay, the first-ever Black star of “The Bachelorette,” is calling out the ABC franchise for staying silent as the ongoing racial controversy involving host Chris Harrison and “The Bachelor” contestant Rachael Kirkconnell continues to spiral.
On Lindsay’s podcast “Higher Learning,” which she hosts with Van Lathan, she said the show shouldn’t begin filming “The Bachelorette” until the franchise figures out how to handle its ever-mounting problems.
