MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE DONATES FOOD BASKETS TO CHARITIES
Ten local charities and other institutions benefitted from Christmas cheer after receiving food baskets as the Ministry of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture and National Food Security hosted their annual Food Basket Donation.
The donation is held annually in collaboration with farmers, and can be seen as evidence of the hard work of Dominican farmers throughout the year. 
Dr. Reginald Thomas who is the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture and National Food Security, stated that the presentation of the agricultural produce supplies by farmers and the abattoir is a reflection of the Government’s commitment to assisting these institutions which take care of the country’s most vulnerable people. ....
