Somebody for paying their taxes, albeit filing it late, and handling it as a criminal matter, but that s what they re doing here. with the gun count, that s irony. that particular provision has been as violation of the second amendment, so he may have a second amendment case here on the 922-g the gun case. as always you re up on everything. i mentioned the gun rights because it is a striking thing. there are gun offenses that are far more legally serious, anything regarding a firearm and a separate crime or attempted violence. a paper work issue within our second amendment jurisprudence is as you say kevin mccarthy said as a factual matter, a normal person wouldn t get this good a deal on these charges. how do you respond in terms of legal precedent to that ....
Heard this before. i feel like i ve heard the admissions before. where do they go? we saw there were consequences in the e. jean carroll trial. we found him to be liable. civilly, not criminally, but a verdict nonetheless. as david said, this is not something we re going to see plead out like criminal charges do. this is going to trial. you ve got to think his lawyers right now have their hands their head in their hands wondering why their client just won t shut up at this point, because this is not helpful. that goes to the other piece of it, david, which is their client has been rotating lawyers in and out. we ve seen on this document side alone, we saw leave the case. we saw mr. corcoran become state s witness, so he s conflicted out. we saw two lawyers leave around the indictment. that s four. then we saw another one recently added. and donald trump on his best day is known to be a tough client. ....

Accusation or view? i think a normal person probably wouldn t have gotten a deal, because it wouldn t have been prosecuted. a tax claim like this wouldn t have gone to a federal case. there are probably many cases that wouldn t as those who did, and i think a misdemeanor tax case i don t know how you make a felony out of this. he paid a lot of money in taxes and then filed late. it s not this he didn t file, didn t try to hide his income, didn t file a false income return. he filed and he paid his taxes which is unlike, for instance, the former president, who didn t pay taxes. so it s really hard to twist this into more of a case than they re pleading it out to be. as i mentioned, this is also a prosecutor that stayed on, and this is the deal they reached so if they obviously thought much more punishment was needed they could have brought the case that way, and they didn t. ....
Chain of events which then got him caught red handed. it was kind of a slow path. over a year from the initial clash with the archives, months from the doj request. now, we made this time line here in our reporting, gleaned from the evidence that we have. this is the kind of thing, not exactly this, but the kind of material, the kind of argument that the jury would hear in this case, backed up by trump s own admission about giving back some. also backed up by the lawyer s notes if they re admitted into evidence and the public record. so now in this new interview, donald trump does what donald trump does. he mixes some of those admissions with other lies. think about the length of time i just showed you that led to that search, and then you have trump falsely claiming there was no lengthy lead up or anything, that the you remember search was sudden. we were discussing with nara ....
