An environmentally friendly local business is set to open Saturday in downtown Jacksonville.
Green Haven at 66 E. Central Park Plaza, is owned by Jessica Lynn, Carissa Hewitt and Brynna Wilson.
The idea for the store originated with Lynn, who owned The Fresh Press before it became Elm City Roastery. The Fresh Press used bio-degradable bowls and straws and that made Lynn think it would be cool to start a eco-friendly store, she said.
