Good evening. Donald trump has become the first us president , former or current, to stand trial in a criminal case after appearing in court in new york. Hes accused of falsifying his Business Records to disguise a Hush Money Payment made to the former adult film star, Stormy Daniels, shortly before the 2016 election. Mr trump has pleaded not guilty and was his usual defiant self outside court, claiming the attack was an assault on america, and repeating unsubstantiated claims that the trial is a witch hunt against him.
