Security resolution, and north korea does not care about that, and it is interesting to see what the chinese will do, and they have called the bluff, and saying, too bad, we will do this anyway, and will the chinese do something, and use the economic leverage? probably not, because they don t want to have a country on the border that has big economic pr problems, so i am guessing that we won t see a heck of a lot in the aftermath of this unless something escalates because south korea reacts, and north e korea, but barring that, there is not a lot to be done. and one last question, and i have to make it a quick one, but it is critical. for years it is thought that china would be the only way to mitigate the irrationality of kim jong un and what he has been up to, and now clearly, that is non-existent, and almost non-existent that relationship, and what of the others who are helping and supplies? there is great knowledge about those who travel from iran and are present in the testing. ....
Jeb bush, donors want to see if he can show that fire and channel that anger. it is a money race going on behind the scenes. there s lots of eye balls out there but maybe those are the most important ones in some ways. errol, last night, donald trump was supposed to be giving this speech that was billed as a foreign policy or national security speech. he didn t really do that. he reverted to a campaign stump speech. why is that? why isn t he giving specifics? can he not do that? or is this by design? well, you ve got to assume it s by design. let s keep in mind, donald trump has his name on two books. i don t know if he physically wrote them. he said that he did. there are two books, one in 2000, one in 2011 that are full of ideas. books specifically about what he would do if he s elect president. it s perplexing in a way that he never references any of what he put into those two books. he never talks about any of those policies. and he stuck to the sort of the bluff and the blus ....
Because although the greeks have asked for it, the europeans still have to decide whether they are going to ground it. we want to bring in john, an international relation specialist. john, good morning to you. you remember just a couple of days ago, the prime minister there lobbied hard for a no vote on this bailout and meant to vote against the tax hikes and spending cuts and the pensions and the like that are now likely part of this austerity plan that he was pushing and that the parliament voted for. i wonder if a waste of energy and time in going through that vote if the greek people are getting what they voted against? essentially, the greek government had bluffed on the last five months and on july 7th, the european creditors called the bluff. two days later, we see that the greeks have put together a reform package and a proposal for the european creditors, as you mentioned correctly, is more ....
Come m commodities are getting scarce. what s going to happen afterwards? i think in the end the greeks are not crazy. i think they understand the reason that they are in debt is not blackmail. but this is a country of 11 million people that has run up $275 billion in dechlt that s not easy if you re 11 people. but the greeks are good at this. the germans have finally said we re taking away the credit card. the problem is there s no negotiating leverage left because the europeans have already called the bluff. they are ready to see the greeks exit. and they are not going to budge one way or the other. the irony is that the thing they re ostensibly voting on sunday is an offer already removed off the table by the europeans. so this is a symbolic vote. it s a take of hemlock. the greeks have a history of this. it was once noble. but i can t believe they re going to do this. because it s essentially economic suicide. one point, though, the greek ....
Minnesota s rir side hospital along the banks of the rising mississippi river. one of the saturated hillsides simply gave way late last night. this after torrential rains thursday. it dumped mud and large trees into the river and left a massive hole inside of the bluff. this mudslide was dangerously close to a hospital building, by nobody was hurt. and engineers determined the hospital structure is still intact and okay. patients and hospital staff were not affected although some staff were briefly e vabback waited. they will begin the cleanup process, but it may take a while as they wait for the area to stabilize. back to you. appreciate that report. meantime, newly released documents reveal major accusations on wisconsin governor scott walker. ....
