Understand it was in terminal 2, we were in terminal 1. how did you feel about that. we were not prepared when something happens like that and i started getting phone calls from family members. from that point we got your bags and couldn t get a taxi, and we were only here about ten minutes and pandemonium hit again and so it was quite scary. reporter: do you know what was going on? my understanding was that they were apprehending another person and reports that there were shots fired. reporter: we have reports that those were unconfirmed reports of additional shots ....
Evan perez, let me go to you who has a little bit more on the shooter s identity. what do you know. reporter: that s right brooke, at this point it s all initial information. initially we heard there was an injury to the shooter and now the sheriff clarified it wasn t. so take that as you will with this information we are and to give to you, but we are told that the initial investigation has shown that the shooter santiago came in on a flight in a terminal earlier today. arrived at that terminal, checked firearms. was able to pick up his luggage, went into a bathroom and came out an started firing, so that s what the initial investigation at this point showing. law firm obviously has to do a lot of interviews on the flight of the people with him. ....
