. shepard: u.s. justice department and the state of arizona gearing up for a legal fight over that state s immigration law. that law is the one that requires all law enforcement check the legal status of anyone they think may be in the country illegally, after they are stopped for something else. governor brewer signed the flaw april, soon after the administration said it would challenge the measure in the month of may, governor brewer set up a legal fund to try to help pay for defending the flaw court. as of yesterday from across the united states have donated merely half a million dollars to that fund. trace gallagher working this story from our west coast hub. most of that money has come in the past few days? reporter: yeah when the governor started that fund in may the money was trickling in. when the doj filed that lawsuit a few days ago, the money started flooding in. look at the numbers of the nearly $500,000 raised, 9,000 donations, 7,000 of those have ....
