Thando Mgenge - who turned himself in to police - is to apply for bail on Monday.
Us going there to attend and protest it s to show that we are requesting no bail.
As the LGBTQI, we have rights as well to live freely in a community that we are placed in.

Durban - As Human Rights Month ended, Sphamandla Khozaâs family learnt that he was killed in an alleged hate crime which sparked outrage, calls for justice and marches.
Last week, the 34-year-oldâs body was discovered in a ditch near his home in Ntuzuma. Khozaâs throat was slit and he was stabbed multiple times.
His death was suspected to be a homophobic hate crime by his family and the LGBTQI+ community. Khozaâs cousin Ndumiso Ngidi said the killing was allegedly perpetrated by men who knew, grew up with and lived in the same neighbourhood as Khoza. ....

The man accused of murdering Durban call centre agent Sphamandla Khoza in a suspected homophobic attack will make a bid for bail on April 16.
Thando Mgenge, 25, made a brief appearance in the Ntuzuma magistrate s court on Thursday, while Khoza s family, including his father Emmanuel Nkosinathi, waited outside the courtroom to hear if his bail application would go ahead.
Mgenge sat with his head bowed and only spoke to his lawyer during his short court appearance. ....
