Can there be too many Thai restaurants? No, never, so it is definitely wonderful that another Thai chef has decided to throw his toque in the ring with a new option for fans of Thailand’s palate-pleasing cuisine.
In January, Sarawut “Tiger” Chuenchom launched his Singtong Thai Food and Sushi restaurant in Palm Bay in the Babcock Street/Palm Bay R0ad, location of the late El Bohio.
Tiger went for a logo of a lion lifting a cloche dome cover to reveal a tasty dish. The reason for the choice is an affinity for large kitty cats.
“Singtong means lion in Thai,” he said.
