Michael Beck went on sabbatical and Thaddeus Thompson became his interim replacement. Now Beck s back, and both men are serving as the co-executive directors of the Berkshire Botanical Garden.
“This is a community show for professional horticulturists and designers, along with backyard gardeners and first time gardeners, to all come together to show the fruits of their labor,” Berkshire Botanical Garden Executive Director Thaddeus Thompson said.
Berkshire Botanical Gardens celebrated the art of traditional timber construction as the last truss was installed on a new building on its property during a barn-raising event on Saturday, Jan. 21. The new building will allow the organization to continue to educate the next generation of stewards of the environment.
