Bengaluru's lifeline at risk

There are four zones around the TG Halli reservoir. Among them, zone four, stretching from Shivagange to TG Halli on both sides of the Kumudvathi River (a tributary of Arkavathi), and zone three (Hesaraghatta to TG Halli on the banks of the Arkavathi River) currently have a one-kilometre buffer zone where no construction activity is permitted.
