When emilys list first started there were only two women in the u. S. Senate. Now there are 26 of us. You allowed so many more women to hold elected office and that made our nation better. For lending their support to todays matter for all that you are doing to keep the board of supervisors running smoothly in these strange, virtual times. Mr. Clerk, do you have any announcements . The work that they are doing on behalf of the country and the state of louisiana specifically the cares act and other things they have been working on, and i do know that the congresswoman has been appointed to the Advisory Council that the president will work with as he makes decisions about the guidance he is going to issue relative to reopening the economy, and certainly i think that is helpful for our state to have someone on that council. We also have the secretary of economic development, don pearson, who is here. He will be able to answer any questions about an announcement i will be making as part of this press conference around the
