TAMIU financial aid programs help students succeed, graduate

Texas A&M International University continues to expand its aggressive efforts to assist students with financial aid to help them begin, continue or complete their degree.
In 2020, TAMIU provided over $72 million in financial aid to students and recently announced an expanded vision for scholarships, The Excellence Investment. It will provide first time freshmen with access to an additional $1 million in scholarship funds.
TAMIU is also offering students continued financial assistance during the COVID-19 Pandemic response by providing a fourth round of TAMIU CARES funding to the tune of $1.5 million for this Spring. All said and done, TAMIU CARES will have provided over $5.1 million in emergency grants to students. Of this, 92%, or $4,750,878, are federal funds while the remaining 8%, or $39
