The best part, though, is that not only will the beautification program not cost city taxpayers, it actually has the potential to save the city about $150,000 over 3-4 years by eliminating mowing expenses. Throw in the additional benefits of helping butterflies and bees, while also providing needed firebreaks, and you have a city program everyone can get behind.
