(Seguin) – Softball players Kelly Jurden and Skylar Ouellette, Men’s Soccer striker Luis Green and defender Mitchell Long, and Men’s Basketball forward Caleb Lister each picked up major awards Wednesday evening at the 2021 Texas Lutheran Athletics Awards Program.
Jurden, the Bulldogs’ redshirt junior outfielder, was named the TLU Female Student-Athlete of the Year and the Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and redshirt junior outfielder Skylar Ouellette was named the TLU Female Sportsmanship Award winner.
Green, the junior All-American for TLU Men’s Soccer, was named the TLU Male Student-Athlete of the Year; and Long, a senior defender, was named the TLU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Lister, a senior for the Bulldogs, was named the Male Sportsmanship Award winner. ....
