People are justifiably upset, but they should focus that anger and not take it out on local businesses.
Bodycam footage shows that during a struggle with another officer,
Daunte Wright was shot by a female officer who yelled Taser. Gannon said today (Monday), It is my belief that the officer had the intention to deploy their taser but instead shot Mr. Wright with a single bullet.

With tensions high between police and the public in the middle of the Derek Chauvin trial, police shot and killed a Black man during a traffic stop on Sunday afternoon.

According to relatives of 20-year-old
Daunte Wright, he drove for a short time before he was shot and crashed the vehicle. He died at the scene. Police say he was stopped for an outstanding warrant and was ordered out of his car, but he ignored officers commands and attempted to drive away. An officer opened fire and shot Wright, but he was able to drive several block before crashing the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger in the car was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
