Published February 1, 2021 4:49pm The provincial government of Bulacan is now preparing the cold storage facilities it will use as the country gears for the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccines. According to a report on 24 Oras News Alert on Monday, among the cold storage facilities the provincial government inspected was in Plaridel. The facility can store up to 350 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines. Plaridel Mayor Tessie Vistan said the local government is planning to store there the COVID-19 vaccine they purchased from pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca. Plaridel is targeting to inoculate 70% of its population. Meanwhile, the chief executive officer of the cold storage facility said it can store vaccines from AstraZeneca, Sinovac, and Moderna.
