Federal prosecutors said the charges stemmed from an extensive drug dealing conspiracy in Puget Sound, which involved dozens of illicit firearms. The joint operation included help from the FBI, DEA, the U.S. Marshal Service and police agencies across the region. Too often the intersection of drug dealing and gun possession leads to violence in our communities, said Tessa M. Gorman, acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington. These defendants enriched themselves by feeding the addictions of the vulnerable and harming community health and safety. Community safety remains a priority for the Department of Justice.
