Christina Harris filed a complaint March 8 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Terry Burk, M.d., Maryville Imaging LLC, Charles Lane, M.D., General and Laparoscopic Surgical Associates PC, Michael Mandis, M.D., Michael Mandis, M.D., LLC and Anderson Hospital, alleging medical negligence. According to Harris complaint, she had a mammogram performed at Anderson Hospital on Jan. 25, 2018, with results that showed a developing asymmetry of the right breast and a recommendation for additional mammograms and breast ultrasound. She alleges that on Jan. 29, 2018, Burk performed a follow-up mammogram which showed an 8mm irregular hypoechoic mass on the right breast.
