More than 700 people gathered Thursday at this airlift hub for a memorial service and retreat ceremony honoring the crew of an Air Force CV-22B Osprey that crashed nearly three months ago in southern Japan, killing all aboard.
The Air Force has called off search efforts after U.S. and Japanese military search teams scoured more than 23,000 square miles of ocean surface and 15 square miles of ocean floor without finding the body of Maj. Eric Spendlove.
