The new San Rafael spot of San Francisco’s craft-beer destination Monk’s Kettle didn’t open until Saturday, but it already looks to be one of Marin County’s most popular restaurants.
Within 20 minutes of opening the reservation line, on Wednesday, the weekend was fully booked, said Christian Albertson, one of the partners.
He believes that’s because there just isn’t anything like Monk’s Kettle in this part of the North Bay yet: high-quality but casual bar food, a vibe that’s as welcoming to kids as to adults and, most of all, a killer beer selection. ....
